1. What is SmartPlug Software?
The SmartPlug Software is a free application that allows TEL3 users to place international calls directly from a BlackBerry device. This free software feature will provide TEL3 BlackBerry users the flexibility of an innovative cell phone technology combined with premium and insured quality at a calling card/VoIP price!

2. Why Should I download SmartPlug Software?
You can make seamless direct international calling from your BlackBerry and you do not need to remember any numbers to dial like access number or PIN. You may use your current address book to make the calls even faster and more convenient or call directly by dialing the International number on your screen. You simply dial to your desired destination as normal from your BlackBerry, while the SmartPlug Software dials through a local number, which seamlessly connects you to TEL3's platform. It then determines your user account number, verifies the balance on the account and continues to process the call throughout its duration. 3. What is TEL3?
TEL3, changing the prepaid long distance market for more than a decade:
1994 - TEL3™ is founded in 1994. Started direct marketing of its long distance service to end users.
2002 - Due to its expertise in technology and in business, TEL3™ started private labeling its services to major brand names in the market.
2004 - Following the big success of TEL3™, we introduced the most lucrative TEL3Advantage™ Agent Program to promote our cutting edge services to a more broader audience.
2006 - TEL3™ continued to lead the market with its innovative and very convenient features by introducing the Smartplug; a free application for cell phone owners, enabling them to make calls directly from their address book.
2008 - We are still introducing new products, and our latest offer is the "business plan" for SMEs that will enable companies to save and control their long distance budget by saving on all of their international long distance calls.
2009 - Introduced the premium TEL3 Dialer Application for iPhone users which will enable them to place easier and cheaper phone calls directly from their iPhone address book.

4. How do I sign up?
You can sign up online by calling our Sales Team at 9am-12am EST, 7 days a week
- TEL3 is a prepaid service, where you decide the denomination that you would like to sign up for
- Your long distance account will be immediately activated upon authorization of credit card
- You can start making calls immediately after you sign up

5. Accepted Payment Methods
We gladly accept American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, along with ATM and debit cards that have a Visa or MasterCard logo. However if you don't have a credit card, you can still sign up to TEL3 by making a payment through PayPal.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee?
We at TEL3 are committed to customer satisfaction, and if at any time you would like to cancel your service with TEL3, as much as we hate to admit, you may do so at any time without any obligations, simply by calling our Customer Service at 1-800-482-4459, between 7am-12am EST, 7 days a week. There will be no cancellation fees, period!
Furthermore, during the first 30 days after you sign up, if you are not happy with the service for any reason, we will gladly refund your money back. We believe signing up with a prepaid service shouldn't be a risk but an opportunity to save and make your life better!

7. How to place a call?
You can make direct international call from your BlackBerry. Either dial direct with "+" or "011" or search your existing address book and dial from there. You will have the same experience as your regular phone dialer.
Placing a call from another phone other than BlackBerry? - When placing a call from any touch-tone phone using TEL3 you have to use an Access Number. This number allows you to access our system and take advantage of our low rates without having to switch carriers. You have the option of either using our Toll Free Access Number or a Local Access Number.

8. If I place domestic calls from my BlackBerry, will I be charged by TEL3?
No, if you dial a number starting with "1" the call will go through your existing wireless service provider. Only if you make an international call (starting with "011" or "+") will the call go through the TEL3 platform so that you can save money on your international long distance calls. Please note that if you will be placing calls from other than the United States, and the United States territory, roaming charges will apply by your wireless provider. Please check with your wireless provider to get more information about roaming charges.

9. How about placing a call to Canada from the United States?
You need to put "+" sign before the phone number so that the call will go through the TEL3 platform and that you will only pay a fraction of the price when placing a call to Canada.

10. Calling from Canada?
Yes, TEL3 service is also available from Canada and you can place international calls from Canada to more than 200+ destinations in the world. Please note that if you will be placing calls outside of your service area, roaming charges may apply by your wireless provider. Please check with your wireless provider to get more information about roaming charges.

Security and Accountability- You can view every single call you make through our Online Account Management: The Date & Time of call, origination number, destination number, minutes used, and amount charged, so you know that you are never overcharged and pay only for the calls you make.
No Hidden Fees or Taxes - Unlike other companies that advertise misleading rates, our rates are clean and inclusive of all fees. There are no additional charges, you pay what you see! There is absolutely no monthly, activation, connection, cancellation fees, hidden charges or taxes associated with using TEL3. However, it is important to remember that whenever you're using your cell phone that mobile service provider's airtime charges do apply.
*Please note: Calls originating from a payphone are subject to FCC mandated payphone fees (69¢). Additional charges may apply for calls made from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan.
No Cancellation Fees & 1-Year Expiration - With TEL3 your account balance expires after 1 year of inactivity, so you can use TEL3 at your convenience without worrying about your money vanishing without you using it. Furthermore you can cancel the service at any time, simply by calling customer service.
