1. What is the TEL3Dialer app for iPhone?
Tel3Dialer is an international calling application for your iPhone, which enables a direct connection to TEL3 without having to dial any toll-free or local access numbers. This allows iPhone users to dial directly or from their contact/recent call lists; seamlessly diverting calls through TEL3’s service. You can now easily download the TEL3Dialer application from iTunes!
2. What should I do to start making free direct calls with TEL3Dialer now?
First download the TEL3Dialer app from the App Store. Then all you have to do is register your iPhone number with your TEL3 Account. You can do that easily by adding your iPhone number as an Instant Access Number on the TEL3 back office.

3. How does the TEL3Dialer App work?
You can make international calls directly from your iPhone. Just select the TEL3 Dialer app on your screen and then either dial (with "+" or "011") or search your existing address book and dial from there. You can also choose one of your recent calls, by selecting it from the "History" tab. It's just like calling from your iPhone!
The TEL3Dialer app seamlessly connects you to TEL3's platform, determining your user account number, verifying the balance on the account and processes the call throughout its duration. With this application, you'll be able to make International calls for pennies which are debited from your prepaid TEL3 account. You would only be using your regular domestic airtime from your existing wireless service provider.
Please Note: Even though when TEL3Dialer app processes your international call with TEL3’s Toll-Free Number; you will not be charged the Toll-Free Access Number rate. You will only be charged the Local Access Number Rate.
4. Why does the TEL3Dialer app not work properly although I downloaded it from the App Store?
First, please make sure you have registered your iPhone with your TEL3 Account. You can do that easily by adding your iPhone number as an Instant Access Number on your TEL3 back office. Secondly, please make sure the number you dial starts with a "+" or "011" followed by the country code.

5. Are there any known issues?
- As of iPhone OS 3.0, Apple forces a confirmation dialog to appear before dialing from any third-party applications. You will see the access number followed by your destination number on the screen. Please press "Call" to complete the call and it will go through Tel3 platform saving you money on International calls.
- Dialing numbers with "#" or "*" is not possible - the phone application will reject such numbers for "security reasons" - until this is changed, there unfortunately is no way to automatically dial numbers if either of those keys is required to complete the call.
- The iPhone currently uses rather slow dialing after the initial connection - this might cause problems in some of your calls. This is a general issue with the phone application and might be fixed in a future iPhone software update.
- During the call and in the "Recent Calls" list the phone application will show the access number (800# of local access number) followed by the contact's number instead of the contact's name.
6. What if I place a domestic call from my iPhone, will I be charged by TEL3?
No, if you dial a number starting with a "1" the call will go through your existing wireless service provider. The call goes through the TEL3 platform once you make international calls (calls only starting with "011" or "+") saving you money on your international long distance calls. Please note that if you will be placing calls from anywhere other than the United States, or United States territory, roaming charges will apply by your wireless provider. Please check with your wireless provider to get more information about roaming charges.
7. How to place a call from the US
If you are calling from the United States to Canada: You need to put a "+" sign before the phone number so that the call will go through the TEL3 platform and you will only pay a fraction of the price when placing a call to Canada.
If you are calling from the United States to all other international destinations: You need to put a "011" sign before the phone number so that the call will go through the TEL3 platform and you will only pay a fraction of the price when calling internationally.
8. Calling from Canada?
Yes, the TEL3 service is also available from Canada so you can place international calls to more than 200+ destinations in the world. Please note that if you will be placing calls outside of your service area, roaming charges may apply by your wireless provider. Please check with your wireless provider to get more information about roaming charges.
If you are calling from Canada to the United States: You need to put a "+" sign before the phone number so that the call will go through the TEL3 platform and you will only pay a fraction of the price when placing a call to US.
If you are calling from Canada to all other international destinations: You need to put a "011" sign before the phone number so that the call will go through the TEL3 platform and you will only pay a fraction of the price when calling internationally.
